How do I make it so it looks like this:
-I have both percussionists as a group and I’ve assigned individual instrument for each of them, but instead of being labeled as “percussion 1 and 2” they are labeled as the first instruments that they play.
-I want the change from 1 line to 5 lines in the Glockenspiel change to be only when the first note of the Glockenspiel is played.
Try using Player labels instead of instrument names for the percussion under Library->Layout Options->Staves and Systems->Staff Labels. Also, try this setting under Library->Layout Options->Players->Instrument Changes.
I tried this solution first, but the player is named “Percussion” on the setup, but on the layout options it appears as percussion, + all the instruments they carry.
