Percussion kit on single staff in parts

I have several unpitched percussion instruments in my score that are actually percussion kits with two instances of the same instrument, one stem up and one stem down on the same single staff line (the purpose is to show two playing techniques simultaneously using the left and right hands). Through some settings fiddling months ago which I don’t fully understand, I made this look correct in the full score. However, in the parts, these instruments are on a two line staff again, with the stem up “voice” (actually an instrument in the kit) on the top line and the stem down “voice” on the bottom line. How can I make the parts look the same as the score?

It looks like you have different options for the presentation of the kit in score versus the part (link to manual for more info). Check the layout options for the part, in the players category → Percussion section. There you can choose between 5-line Staff, Grid and Single-line Instruments.

If you match that setting in the part to what you have in the score, you’ll probably get what you want.

If the issue is between the score and the parts I believe what you are looking for is under page layout options, under “players” and look at the percussion settings. Keep in mind, you need to make sure you select the correct layout in the right hand panel.
