Percussion kit: Polyphonic notation with percussion possible?

Hi,

i have these 2 unpitched percussion instruments in a percussion set, and I was wondering how can I manage it that the upper one is a full note and the lower ones stay 8s. Is it possible to have polyphonic notation with percussion?

Yes, you can use multiple voices when writing for a percussion kit using a five-line percussion staff. You can either do this by setting individual instruments in the kit to use a specific voice by default, or you can override individual notes so that they are in a specific voice via the context menu. Make sure that the option on the Percussion page of Notation Options is set to allow multiple voices, too.

Thanks for the hint. I didnt realize that I can set the voice of each instrument in the percussion kit itself, actually very easy.
