I’m trying to get the layout correct in my full score for the percussion part. It is correct in the actual part, but as you can see, it not correct in the full score. They switch from timpani after the first two bars to drum set. I can’t get rid of the break in the staff.
This can happen when you have an instrument change mid-way through the system and a vertical spacing adjustment somehow gets incorrectly applied to only one of the instruments. In Engrave mode, do Engrave > Staff Spacing > Reset Selected Frame, and then reapply any vertical spacing adjustments you need.
