Here is a snippet from the player’s part. 2 things of interest:
1.) Even though I invoked to show the percussion legend in the score, this did not carry through to the part. While I understand that this “score vs parts” has been rehashed thousands of times in other areas, I thought that this was worth mentioning as I have not seen this mentioned.
2.) I feel that the legend should go below the tempo… not above. The same thing occurs at rehearsal marks. I feel it would be better, if the engraving options had more to show here as far as ordering how the stack should go.
