Percussion Maps Exasperatingly Fussy and Buggy!

If you have delved into creating Dorico percussion maps then I am sure that you know what I am talking about. I don’t think it would be possible to make the process of setting up Dorico percussion maps any more labyrinthine and excruciating than it currently is. My latest unnecessary challenge is that percussion maps keep getting corrupted. Specifically I am getting dual entries for the same midi note that can’t be deleted. The only solution I have found is to delete the entire percussion map and start over from scratch.

Also, how about fixing the “Clear” button on the percussion map window? Currently when you try to change a playback technique for a midi note, Dorico appends the playback technique with a second technique. Fine, if this is what you want. However, if you just want to change the current playback technique, then you must “Clear” the entire entry and start over.

There is a crazy amount of room for improvement in percussion maps. Please start by fixing the really painful bugs.
