Hi, I am new to Dorico and learning process in painful so far.
I have a few simple questions.
I couldn’t find a Tam-tam instrument when creating project. Is this instrument available in Dorico?
After not being able to find a Tam-tam, I decided to add a percussion staff, but it appears in the score as Tom-tom. Under edit name it appears as Percussion. What seems to be the problem?
Yes, Dorico has a tam-tam instrument. In Setup mode, type Shift+P to add a new player, then type “tam” into the search box at the top of the instrument picker. The first matching instrument will be Tam-tam.
I’m not aware of there being a full written list, but maybe there is somewhere. When you enter Setup Mode, the new player list gives you very full options for what instruments you use.
