Percussion not showing as 5-line staff

I was sent this score, to be engraved and I want to show each percussion player with a 5-line staff. Both player’s percussion kits are set to 5-line staff and both players are selected in both layouts as 5-line staff. If I switch to grid or single-line instruments they will display as either grid or single-line instruments, but none of them will show as a 5-line staff in neither galley nor page view.

Can someone help me diagnose this?

I’m sorry I can’t share the Dorico-file since this is full of custom stuff that I’m not allowed to share.

the only thing that comes to my mind is to check if someone edited the Percussion Kit Instrument definition: you can check if they have only 1 line, and possibly reestablish the 5 lines staff there:

If you save your file as a copy, and the on the copy you delete all the music, and all the flows but one, and upload the file here, we can still see your setup, with our you need to worry about copyright…
