Percussion part appearance in heading/engrave mode

I came across this helpful template I am now using for concert band pieces and this is my first time using it:

I really like it, but I have run into an issue for which I have not yet found a solution. I like to include the player name with the title of the work in the headings for the parts. It works for everything with the exception of the percussion parts, which in the layout panel includes all the instruments held by the player. I want the heading to just show Percussion 1, Percussion 2, etc., only. What I am getting is two lines for the layout, Percussion in full view, and a clipped picture of the instruments below it (see attached screen shot), which I do not want.

Is there a workaround for this? This is the final cleanup before I am done with this piece.

Hi @Art51tra, I had a fast view of the video:
you probably just have to create a custom duplicate First page template for those parts, and edit it: delete the upper text frame, recreate it and insert a different token, as for example the layout name one (and make sure that the layout name are percussion 1, percussion 2, etc…).

As always, if you provide a Dorico file, we can give precise advice on how to proceed, base on the current situation (not everything is guessable from a screenshot).

I appreciate you taking the time to look at the video. I’ll play around with it and, if I still run into problems, I’ll repost with an excerpt of the file.

Since this affected a few instruments, I just made a dirt simple edit of the percussion parts’ pages after page 1 and typed in what I wanted to see. It had no effect on all the other parts. It’s not a custom template, but I see what you’re getting at. Thanks again for your input.
