Maybe completely unrelated, but I’ve had trouble with Cubase file selector dialogs and so called finder extensions like Default Folder & Pathfinder. You don’t happen to use these?

I use DropBox and OneDrive. My default save location is DropBox because I am collaborating remotely with my band. I have seen a post on this, too. I disabled all finder extensions, but it still crashes when I Cubase tries to bring up a file chooser window.
