The proceeding two images show what I believe is, some kind of bug in the UI.
The following shows that the Velocity Lane is supposedly already visible, however it is not or else a Tag “Velocity” would be shown:
While the following shows the Velocity Lane, it also shows what appears to be a container for all lanes, however it cannot be altered in size, nor made can it be made to disappear:
I would like to have just one lane showing at a time, and as well I would like to also be able to show/hide lanes, simply by selecting or deselecting them, from the list rather than explicitly having to select “Remove Lane”.
Unless Steinberg are in the process of improving this area of the application, that is by replacing the System Dialog with a UI object from the DAW, I think this should be looked at and fixed by the release of the next whole numbered version since previously, I was able to alter the ratio of the note editing area, with the controllers/velocity area.
