You can! But read this carefully
If you have M1-M5 you need to feed all ext monitors via separated cable (1 display / 1 laptop-out). HUB with 2*HDMI wont work with M1-M5 laptops. Sidecar is additional on the top, takes no display-slot from armCPU
BUT with M-chip Pro / Max laptops are - afaik - able to use 3ext monitors. Can 2 via HUB for dual-screen and a third on another port (+sidecar ).
So answer: YES, but need to reserve laptop ports for ext-monitor
Some additional note. This is true, if you use HDMI. In case you use thunderbolt, you can cascade 2 monitors on one output, even with a docking station, which supports thunderbolt.
Woww, good to know. So you have 3 different desktops (incl. laptop-screen) with a dual-HDMI-port TB4 hub? None of are mirrored screens, do I get it right?
Thank you for your interesting exchange of ideas. It is very helpful for me to follow the different approaches.
Apparently, I am not the only one who is a little unsure about this.
