Is there any other method for notating piano charts? The regular way is sooo complicated and slow compared to Finale
Could you be a little more specific about what you mean by the regular way being slow and how it was in Finale?
Generally, depending on how long you have been using another software, you will have developed a solid workflow and switching to another software with a hugely different approach will almost always feel slow in the beginning.
Welcome to the forum and Dorico, @engelhardt.music.
You appear to have saved this text as a template used for multiple threads, which makes it seem is if you haven’t yet had the chance to work through the First Steps guide, introductory videos, etc. I really recommend them — very, very helpful!
Could you bit more specific about what you mean by “notating piano charts?” What aspect(s) of setup and/or writing are giving you trouble?
As a user of Finale, Sibelius and Dorico for many years each, this statement makes no sense to me.
