Piano pedal end horizontal alignment problem

When displayed as a line, the “uptick” at the end of the pedal is aligned with the center of the attached note. When I use the rosette (sign), it is offset. Is there a way to fix this without going into engraving mode for every pedal marking (there are a lot of them)?

That said, the usual notation would place the end of the pedal one note later, which you actually get if you select the notes in the bar and add the pedal (or if you select the existing one and press Shift+Alt+Right Arrow)

No, that option is already on in the images I posted.

Also, in that video you posted, it’s still not centered on the note. It’s offset right.

I see. This option does affect the rosette, but it’s the right edge that gets aligned either to the left or to the centre.

I think the problem is that you are attaching the pedal end to the wrong note. Try attaching it to the next beat.

But @nradisch wants the rosette to be centered on the note, which is not usual, and which Dorico doesn’t allow automatically, AFAIK.

My Schirmer complete Chopin edition has the rosettes centered on the note.

If the end of the pedal line is aligned with the center of the notehead and the Edit Music Symbol dialog is used to change the X-Offset of the glyph for Pedal up mark to -4.55, you can get the rosette to be centered on the notehead:
