I am not sure how this happened, but cubase put my piano roll tempo in 5x5, when it’s set as 4x4 100bpm track. Now when I open the piano roll my notes are all over the place. I also have it set to 1/16 like a normal song. Why is it doing this and how can I get it back to normal 4x4? Attached a picture
Not at my music computer right now, but, looking at your screenshot, it is Length that you have set at 1/16, while the actual Quantize field is Hidden. Right-click in a blank space of the Extended Toolbar, to customize what will be visible there (I bet you a soggy hamburger that, once you actually see it, it will be set to something bizarre 
). Most often (but there is no rule 
), with both Quantize and Length visible in the Toolbar, we set Length to “Link”.
