Piano roll (Key Editor) zoom on touchpad (likely also mouse wheel) incomplete

Please make sure to support zooming and scrolling (vertically and horizontally) on a touchpad in track editor and key editor.

I noticed this doesn’t work everywhere as you would expect, at least in the key editor zooming or scrolling was limited to a single axis only.

Also please fix the annoying Cubase bug that you lose your currently selected midi events if you zoom in and have the option ‘select midi events under cursor’ enabled, if it exists in VST Live too (untested / not researched) and don’t jump back to the clip beginning in the key editor whenever you open a new clip. This is super annoying if you have longer clips on your timeline.

If you have any way of reaching out to the Cubase team maybe you can make them consider it as well

This is confusing. Are you talking about VST Live, or Cubase? Pls post comments on Cubase in the Cubase forum.

Yes, sorry, I was in a hurry.

The post is related to VST Live. All the issues with scrolling / zooming I mentioned are definitely present in VST live 2.

The midi event selection issues may also be there, but that was just a side note as I didn’t come around to check if it’s actually the case.

… zooming with a Touchpad? That’s nice. I’ll check what we can do.
… a Touchpad is already working for vertical and horizontal scrolling in the Track and the editors in the lower zone. What do I miss here?

See you,
Michael.
