I am making projection slides with lyrics and notes. I used the library manager to take my sheet music into my slide template.
There are three verses in the song, so I duplicated the flow twice and deleted the unused verses so there would only be one line of lyrics throughout the song.
The problem is the pickup measure into each new verse. When I split the final measure for a pickup into the next verse, it leaves that partial measure on a slide by itself instead of putting it with the next system. Is there a way I can make the end of that flow go to the next system in the next flow?
I’m not sure if I’m correctly picturing what you’re describing, but I think what you should do here is remove the “pickup” from the end of each flow and then add a proper pickup at the start of the next one.
You won’t be able to automatically “layer” a bar between flows: flows are inherently separate chunks of music.
Assuming the piece is in 4/4, you would need to manually input a 2/4 bar at the end and beginning of the appropriate flow (with a hidden time signature). At least I think this will be the easiest way…
