I have a bass loop I am playing around with that is all in the key of A. I want to mix it up a bit so I have chopped the loop and I am trying to change the key of the loop to D etc. Only thing is, when I change the pitch of the part of the loop selected, it changes the pitch for the whole loop. ie, the orginal section that was split/cut from the loop?
Until you give some more info on how you are changing the pitch, I´d say enable the preference, that lets you create a new event for the pitch changed part, instead of changing the original event.
