Experiencing an odd issue in VST Live Pro 3: the Pitchbend value on the Layer page occasionally shifts by a few percent after loading a project, causing certain plugins to sound slightly detuned. It’s not reproducible, but it happens often enough to be noticeable. I’ve seen others mention this bug, and it seems to be known. Blocking CC7 makes the problem occur less frequently, but it doesn’t fully prevent it. Is there a fix or workaround available yet. Thanx!
Looked up the code, there is nothing spurious at all there. If the shift happens, does the numeric value in the Layer show anything but “NOT SET”? If so, ctrl/click the Pitch Bend slider to make it inactive, then it will not send any MIDI at all.
Also see here.
Thank you for your effort, but the setting always shows not set (as long as nothing has been changed — then it displays the deviation in percent).
I’ll take a screenshot next time it happens.
Pitchbend has its own MIDI Status, it’s not a CC. But if changing CC makes a difference, it probably means that some cc are routed to change pitchbend?
But then…wouldn’t even know how to do that, Layer Pitchbend cannot be remote controlled except when using computer keyboard remote like Stream Deck?
