Placing song position cursor by clicking in an empty space in the score

Hi!
I got me Cubase 15 and wonder how could I make so that when I click in an empty space in the score to locate there the song position locator?
Thank you in advance!

  1. Click the in the ruler in the project window, not in the score window.
  2. The cursor will be shown and synced in the two windows.,

I solved by selecting a note in the score and typing L on keyboard (“go to selection” key command). Then start playback with spacebar.

With this solution everytime I hit spacebar the playback start again from that note until I select a different note + L for update the playback start.

With L command is a common way to go with cursor on the selection that can be a part in project, a note in key editor, an area selected with the selection tool in the arrange window.

For Score editor I find useful this workflow

Let me know if it works fine for your needs

Thank you very much Buer!

I anyway wonder why can I not do it the easy way I did in Cubase 10…

Maybe 15 is very new and still some problems are not solved…

Cubase 15 score is totally new, based on Dorico, I think that is a gorgeous update that needs to be taken with more confidence and new mind approach. Today is the most feature full powerful score engine, followed by the one present in Logic Pro.
