Placing staccato dots out of the staff

Hi,

I would like to have the staccato dots (but also, I guess, other similar markings) out of the staff, like in this example:

But I don’t know how to do it as a general rule, nor as a local adjustment:

Any idea about how to move the dot vertically?

Engraving Options > Articulations > Vertical Position > Advanced Options - allow/disallow inside staff?

I’d say select it in Engrave mode and alt-up if Lillie’s solution is not granular enough…
