Play along with MIDI file

I want to import a MIDI File, select a track and play along with it with the same MIDI instrument (Dowmloaded MIDI Files)

If I select and mute the track I get no sound from my MIDI keyboard

I tried deleting the track blocks, but I dont get the original MIDI instrument when playing the MIDI keyboard

Not sure what you’re asking here, Bud.
You should have a MIDI file on one track, going to a VST instrument that produces the sound.
Then another track with your keyboard on it, with a second instance of the VST instrument that uses the same sound as the first track.
