Play audio tracks from RAM

I notice very active (and unfortunatley loud!) hard disk activity when playing back only 20 audio channels.

These days computers with 8-16 GB RAM as standard there should be an option to play audio from RAM instead of streaming from HD. My recent song I am working on is just 640 MB as WAV audio so it could be easily placed into RAM without

Sure, I could use the RAM-disk method but would be much easier to offer it by Cubase.

SB, please add the ability to play audio channels straight from RAM with frequence backup in the background.
