I have had the bass playing back as written, but with in working in other parts of Dorico Pro, it now plays back in octave below…how do I raise it up again?
Why do you want or need the playback to be as written and not transposed? If this part will eventually be given to a human they will play it an octave lower than written, and a part written in concert pitch would need copious amounts of ledger lines or frequent use of 8vb markings. Having to read below the B 3 spaces below the bass clef staff is very unfamiliar to any bass guitarist since that’s the very lowest note of a 5 string bass, but reading up to a high B or C (4 ledger lines and 4 ledger lines and a space above the staff, respectively) is common in a lot of parts.
