And when I play back my tracks it keeps pausing for a very short time it shows on the time display and the locator bar any ideas thanks Andy

Try to increase your Audio Device Buffer Size, please.
Hi did all that it didn’t work reinstalled version 9 and 8
Still didn’t work I have logic aswell that works fine
In the end I set the pc to a restore point last month
And now works poss win 10 update was a problem
