I have a specific need - I have occasional jobs where I’m hired to re-enter a part from a score to digitize it (usually to be transposed for a different instrument) I usually enter in the key of the original instrument, then transpose. When I enter the notes, I would have the chart in transposed pitch. The problem for me is that I have perfect pitch, and Dorico plays the concert pitch. This is super disorienting. Let’s say it’s for Horn in F. I input an A, and it plays an D through the speakers. If the next note is a G on the chart, I’m likely to play a C on the keyboard (because it’s down a step from the note I heard) so it quickly can go way astray.
So far I’ve just been turning the sound off, but is there an option to change this? I know this is a problem for very few people, but still hoping to fix it.
