Just purchased Dorico 4, I am in the learning process but I think I found some type of bug
in play mode entering note and it just jumps up an octave or 2 by itself? Is this a known issue?

I’ve not encountered this myself. Are you able to provide a set of steps that reliably reproduce the problem?
