Play tool in the Sample Editor plays from random positions

So, there’s a problem when working with the Sample Editor in Cubase 8.0.35, which is that when you use the Play tool to play back a slice in a sample.

Example:

  • Create a new Cuabase Project
  • Import or record a sample
  • Open the sample in the sample editor
  • Create some hitpoints
  • Use the play tool and click on a slice to play it.
  • Sample will be played back, sometimes from the beginning of the slice,
    sometimes from somewhere in the middle of the slice.
