Playback by automatically skipping gaps between events

Hi! So, the scenario is this. I have a track with events resulted from the “Detect Silence” function (noises comming from my noisy neghbour). So on this track everything is good because I can clearly see at which point in time each disturbance happened (which hour/minute/second). The problem is that in order to listen to these audio events (to delete noises that I produced moving around in my room and that the mic picked up) I have to duplicate the track and use the “Shuffle” snap type to remove gaps (thanks, @steve, for introducing me to this wonderful feature - here). This is a problem because if I want to find the point in time where one of the events had its start position, there’s no easy way to do it (I have to look for the audio event description, open PLE, load the preset, paste the description, click apply, close PLE — all this to find the duplicate event on the other track; the event that is correctly positioned in time). In other words, reversing “shuffle” to position the events where they were, is not possible (might be possible with “Move to Origin”, but I’m not sure right now). Anyway, does anyone know if it’s possible to playback by automatically skipping gaps between events? (kinda’ like temporarily disable gaps)
The whole point of this post is for me to find out an easy way to delete unwanted events, and without having to use the “Shuffle” grid.

P.S. The recordings are imported, not recorded with Cubase. And sometimes gaps are 3 hour long.

I could only think of utilizing an Arranger Track for this.
However, the time it takes to create the Arranger events and then to set up the playlist is probably too long for what you try to achieve.

Yeah… Thanks anyway.

Yep. Possible with “Move to Origin”… I just had to manually set the origin time in the Pool window. I don’t need Cubase to automatically skip the gaps for me anymore… This topic can be deleted (or not…).
