Playback: Chord Symbol Louder Than Melody

Just spent a most informative 17 minutes watching Anthony Hughes’s excellent video on troubleshooting playback sound only to discover that somehow both the instrument in question and the master level had been muted! “Gee, Mister Wizard, it’s not plugged in!” Now sound has been restored. But the balance between the melody and the chord symbols is wrong. The chords are much louder than the melody. On the mixer, only one fader is visible. How does one separate the chord volume from the melody volume.

I found as soon as I activated the chord track in Play mode, a fader labeled chords appeared in the Dorico mixer. Does that not happen or not work in your file?

Many thanks to you, Derrek. Yes, pursuant to your direction, I was able just now to activate the guitar instrument, and a corresponding fader did appear on the mixer. I’m still not entirely sure how I managed to activate the guitar instrument. But - whatever I did - it appears to function properly as you advised.
