Hello, asking this just in case someone knows.
I’m testing playback of the Chords track through a plugin of my own. I’ve notice a couple of small oddities.
- At the start of playback, there is a very brief “pre-roll” (apparently) where the playhead position is reported as negative. Just ignoring these negative values seems to make everything work well thereafter.
- My test project has 2 very short flows, each with a dozen or so chords. Playback of the first flow is fine. In the second flow, the reported playhead positions don’t seem to correlate with the score measures. I would expect/hope the playhead to start at “time zero” at the beginning of each flow, or at least at a bar boundary on ones after the first.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I realize that this subject is not a daily concern for many/any. There are lots of very knowledgeable folks in the forum.
(I had first noticed the second issue when starting playback at the beginning of the first flow, and letting play roll through to the end of the second flow. The playhead advance continues during a pause between them. But I don’t think that would be considered a normal scenario.)
