Is there any way to show the Playback Ruler and/or the Playhead when in Write Mode?

I am having a hard time getting the Playhead when stopped, but I can’t seem to find where to click to have it play from particular point.
No, unfortunately. I believe this has been requested and something they may add in the future. This is familiar behavior in almost all DAWs, not so commonly found in notation software. But I feel it could add more utility to the preference of showing the playhead when stopped, if users were able to do something with it such as moving the transport, exactly like in a DAW timeline.
I have personally re-mapped start/stop from selected note to my normal space bar (so I don’t have to reach for P, and it’s more similar to working in a DAW for me). I have discovered over time that if no note is selected, it will just behave like normal start/stop, playing from where it left off, so I haven’t encountered any issues with this remapping and find it to be a decent compromise (so rather than dragging a playhead with the mouse, I’m still moving my mouse but to a note or barline, and space bar does what I want it to do).
I was thinking about re-mapping mine as well - coming from Finale - I keep clicking on a bar and then hitting the space bar and it moves back to the last play position, but I can’t seem to move that play position like I can in Finale or DAWs
If clicking a single note or chord feels too fussy sometimes, you can also select a barline or a text item. But you do still have to hit P (or remap it).
If it’s any help, there is also Alt+P for Move Playhead to Selection (and don’t start playback). You could use that along with selecting a whole bar. But then of course you’d need to deselect before playing, otherwise it solos that staff.
