Playback was fine a few days ago but now I am getting an error message saying that some audio files are missing (Halion). I’ve tried re-installing everything and still no joy.

Dorico
Version 4.3.30.1132 (Mar 10 2023)
Dorico 4 AudioEngine Version 5.5.0.67
Dorico does not recognize any sound file with you anymore, except for the impulse responses for REVerence.
If it did before and now suddenly not anymore, then I wonder what you did in order to srew up the contents installation.
Did you move files manually around?
I would try to reinstall the contents packs one more time.
Nothing moved, etc. The ‘files missing’ warning just started appearing which prompted me to try using the download assistant. I will try to reinstall again. Files load up and I can edit as normal, but bo sound.
When I start my computer, I get audio with Youtube etc., but once Dorico is launched, I get no audio for anything.
That suggests you have “take exclusive control” checked on your Dorico Audio Driver.
(That would not, however, explain the lack of audio within Dorico.)
