Hi there,
there is a sustained note coming from the guitar every
time I press play even if there is no note/no midi information in the score.
Does somebody have a clue?

I suspect the issue is that you have changed the sound in the VST instrument, but Dorico is still using the expression map that was formerly chosen, with the consequence that it’s now playing a key switch that isn’t compatible with the current sound. Go to the Endpoint Setup dialog and change the expression map for the chosen channel to Default.
