Playback issue with Section Strings during a staff divisi section indicating a solo passage

Hello Everyone

Can anyone tell me to best way to have a solo section in section string parts (a spilt staff divisi that was split and indicated for a temporary solo single player passage) to play the solo line with the correct instrument track? I have a passage in the orchestra where the concertmaster and all remaining principal strings play a solo but the staff clearly indicated as the solo line still sounds like a section. I am using noteperformer 4

The only way (I know of) is to reserve one voice for the solo line and enable Independent Voice Playback for that instrument. So when the soloist plays, put all their notes into the reserved voice and don’t use it elsewhere.

Would be nice if Dorico did the track switch automatically when divisi staves are activated with a solo line

That would require Dorico to know about instruments that you do not include in Setup, which I could imagine would be difficult to do.
