Playback issues after running Plugoff

I’m experiencing difficulty with playback of my scores (NotePerformer 4).

I started experiencing this after running a plugin called Plugoff from Midifex which promised to organize my Logic plugins and offload ones I wasn’t using. I’m pretty sure the process messed up the sound library in Dorico in the process.

After running the Plugoff process, there was no sound coming from my existing scores with Note Performer set as the default playback template. Also, I started getting an error message when opening Dorico that said “An essential component used by Dorico for playback has not been found…install the following: HALion Sonic 7, Groove Agent SE5”. Although I do not use these libraries for playback, I did as I was told.

Now when I open Dorico, I no longer get the error message, but there is still no playback sound. If I go to the Play mode, I see that NotePerformer is listed under Routing but there are !! signs on either side of it. If I click on the e button to see the NP mixer, I get nothing.

Could someone please help me out?

That means Dorico cannot find NotePerformer.
You could try reapplying the NP Playback Template, but if that doesn’t work reinstall NP.

Thank you. Reinstalling NP4.5 got me back to normal.

Gotta remember to be careful with those utility plugins.
