I opened Dorico a short while ago and the playback of what I had written is not sounding at all. I currently have my PC audio running through my Focusrite 6i6 and out into my headphones. The interface is connected via a standard USB 2.0 cable. YouTube and the music in my iTunes library both work just fine and I can hear everything, but not through Dorico for whatever reason. Any ideas on how to fix this?
Have you maybe accidentally muted the output channel of the Dorico mixer? Please open the Dorico mixer window and check.
If that is fine, please check Edit > Device Setup if the correct driver and output ports are selected.
If also that is fine, go to Play mode and choose Play > Playback Template and select the appropriate template again.
If then still no sound comes out, do Help > Create Diagnostics Report and attach the according zip file here. Thanks
That fixed it. The audio device was set incorrectly. I forgot about the Device Setup option. Thanks!
