I have a solo piano project on which the playback of pedal markings suddenly gets very messed up on the second page. I was making lots of changes on the page and something seems to have tricked the system, because none of the notch/retake markings work for 2-3 systems. And then the opposite problem happens: the pedal never gets depressed (in the playback) at all.
I thought it might have something to do with the pedal being attached to certain voices (because those got flipped around a bit), but I don’t think that pedal markings are supposed to work that way.
I am pretty sure, however, that the problem started when I inserted a glissando on a certain chord. That was, and still is, where the notches/retakes started being ignored by playback.
If a Dorico developer wants a copy of the file to investigate the problem, I would be happy to pass it along.
