Playback Override Help

I am having trouble with playback override, can anyone walk me through it?

I have four KS settings that are all working: normal, marc/accent, legato, and stopped horn. However there is a passage at the end where the stopped horn plays slurs and it immediately switches from stopped to the open slurred horn sound. I removed the slurs to fix the audio problem but I would very much like to keep the slurs in the part. Can someone explain to me how to override this? Thank you!

It looks like you need to define a legato+mute state in your expression map. Or make sure legato and mute are not in the same exclusion group. Or that the mute playing technique (that triggers the mute playback technique) has a duration that covers those slurred notes… So as you can see, there are multiple factors! Hope it helps!
