When finalizing an arrangement I often have to work with repeat endings, to get the playback to end, the way I want. When playing back Dorico always starts from the first repeat ending. And it is very time concuming to have to go through that every time. Say I have 4 repeat endings and I want to listen to the transition from the 3rd repeat to the 4th ending. Is there a way to do that???
Not jet, but it has already been requested.
Hmm… This was something that was easy in Sibelius. That program just added the bars from the repeated sections to it’s overall counter. Then you could playback from anywhere in the arrangement. I really miss that.
If you want playback to skip over the first through third repeat endings, you could temporarily add a D.S. at the start of the first ending and a Segno at the start of the fourth ending:
If you already have a Segno or two in this flow, you can set the Marker index property of the temporary repeat markers to 3.
