In measures 34-38 the playback switches from pizz. to arco without me having typed any “arco” playing technique. The snap pizz. are played properly, however.
I don’t know what happened, but it used to work properly.
I’ve looked at playback techniques row of the piano roll in the playback tab, and I can see these notes are set as “natural”. I don’t recall having changed the playback of these notes manually, I don’t even know how to do that.
You set pizz as “direction” in bar 15 (i.e. playing pizz until cancelled by another technique), but then as “attribute” in bar 30 to 33 (i.e. playing pizz only the marked notes, then reverting).
A good rule of thumb is to apply arco and pizz. to a single note: then they behave as generally expected based on historical practice. The same often goes for articulations like accents. The direction capability is useful for some articulations, but not for all, unless one enables a continuation line in Properties to make things clear.
