Playback stops until Processing Overload Indicator clicked even though no overload

I am facing a minor bug that may or may not be part of Cubase 15 Pro, or a combination between Cubase 15 Pro and Kontakt 8. I would like some assistance in how to properly diagnose this, and hopefully find a remedy.

With multiple Kontakt instruments, I’ve found that editing notes in the piano roll appears to put the instrument into a weird state where no playback occurs… until I click the “Processing Overload” button on the Audio Performance Monitor panel. And this is even without the Audio Performance Monitor indicating there was a processing overload.

Right now the issue appears to be solely affecting Kontakt instruments, but the fact that the fix is to hit the Processing Overload indicator… which as far as I’m aware has only one function - clearing an indication of processing overload - is why I’m bringing this issue here to start.

Does anyone have any ideas on this?

I’ve confirmed it’s doing the same with Pigments 7, not just Kontakt

If playback is in progress an attempt to edit the piano roll appears to silence the instrument until the Processing Overload indicator is depressed, no overload required.

And it seems to also kill playback if I adjust the height of the lower-zone.

Time continues going, but no audio.
