Newbie question: does a project template include the playback template that was loaded when you saved it? I assumed that it would, but that doesn’t seem to be happening for me: when I create a new project with my project template I have to apply the playback template manually. The manual says “The project library settings included in project templates include … playback”, but perhaps that doesn’t mean the playback template?
Yes, when you save an existing project as a custom project template, new projects that you start based on that template will use the playback template saved in that project.
Thank you, Daniel. I think I see the problem now. It is another manifestation of the problem discussed here – namely that my attempts to overwrite a factory project template with a custom one are sometimes successful but sometimes not. I’m sorry, I should have thought of that.
No need to apologise – there are some lurking bugs there. Those will be knocked on the head in the next release.
