A curious one here – I have a score with a Euphonium part. I clearly added the player, and it plays correctly. The part shows in the score within Edit and Engrave modes, but it doesn’t show in the players list within Setup or the dropdown player’s list. Any thoughts appreciated!
Can you post a copy (cut down, if necessary)? Probably be quicker that way.
When you say “players list in Setup”, do you mean on the left or right? On the right is the Layouts panel, and it’s entirely possible that you’ve somehow deleted that part layout.
Likewise, the drop-down at the top of the window is the layout selector. It shows names of players, because part layouts are by default named after their players. However, it’s showing you available layouts, not players.
As @Lillie_Harris points out: the dropdown list is for Layouts, not Players.
Hi Lillie – sorry if I wasn’t clear. The instrument is not showing on the left in the list of Players, but shows in the Edit and Engrave modes of the score.
Please share a screenshot or project file that demonstrates what’s going on.
