Is there any way to play multiple tracks at once? I’d like to be able to audition layers of multiple synths before recording MIDI.

Hi Jon. I’d love to help but your question is a bit vague. Could you please provide a lot more detail about what you’re trying to do -how you’re set up, are you talking about hardware synths, software, synths, internal sounds, how are you connected and what device you’re using to play the sounds.
As far as I know the Cubasis on-screen keyboard will only target the active track.
So currently the only way I know how to do this is by using an external midi-controller and arming the selected tracks for recording and audition the sound before doing the actual recording.
Hardware controller. Trying to play two or three midi tracks at once. Internal synths are the destinations.
In routing for each midi channel you want to play with the hardware controller, make sure the controller is selected, or “all midi ports” - that will work too. Then just arm the tracks you want to play with their record buttons.
