I started up Dorico and opened a project. When I went to play it back, it came out through the MacBook Pro speakers instead of the headphone jack (which I had already chosen for audio output), I see this is a consistent problem.

What if you go to Edit > Device Setup and in that dialog click on the Device Control Panel button. In the new window that pops up, is the option Automatically Configure Device checkmarked?
