Playing technique as new articulation substitute

Hi
I am slowly trying to create new “articulations for Chinese instruments”, yet only possible with the workaround through creating new playing techniques.

Now I encounter the following problem with playing techniques:
When moving one note of a chord in a 2-staff-harp-instrument
to the upper staff, the playing instruction does not (other than the articulations) move to the upper staff. Is there a way to change this?
example

Besides: not being able to create own articulations (or any other note-related element) is a very big limitation, as playing techniques are no real substitute (they are section related, and so I have to enter any new articulation for every note separately).
So big big wish: more flexibility in creating articulations, ornaments and categories!

Playing techniques are not attached to notes, so they won’t move when you cross notes to another staff. Even if you could define your own ornaments, they too would not automatically move to another staff. You cannot define your own articulations (they are properties of notes, and not practically extensible) but if you are not planning to use the stress/unstress articulations, you can at least change the appearance of those two via Library > Music Symbols.

Thanks Daniel, that’s clear so far. Yet, I need to create about 15 new note-related symbols, so changing two articulations will not do. Seems that, at the moment, I just have to find workarounds for this.
