Playing technique continuation line - make it end before the barline?

Hi,

Is there a setting to make the continuation line end before the bar line, rather than crossing over (see screenshot…the orange one is what I would actually want)?

I can do it manually in Engraving mode, by tweaking the “End offset” parameter, but wondering if there is a way to make it automatic.

Hi @mikeheels, you could globally increase the Gap between text playing technique and continuation line in Engraving Options, but this influences the start of the line as well (for long lines if would be less disturbing, maybe…):
