Hi everyone, is there a way to set where an individual playing technique appears relative to a notehead (or noteheads) without dragging it or setting the “offset” value? I have a “sim.” marking over a double notehead — there’s a dyad of A and G in a piano right-hand part — and I’d like the marking to center over the stem by using just one property, rather than nudging or dragging until it looks right.
There isn’t a property for positioning items automatically on stems, I’m afraid.
One method some people use to have an alternative “stem decoration” is to repurpose the Z-on-stem tremolo glyph, but that of course prevents you using the Z-on-stem symbol elsewhere in the project.
