I tried searching, but came up with no results. Is there any recommendation for producing a gradual change in a technique? For example, most common for me, is moving from Normale to Sul Ponticello and back. I know I can do a continuation line to represent this, but to be certain the musician understands, I’d want to add text - which then functions as a text input instead of a playing technique, and the line itself isn’t really dynamically attached to the end technique either. But maybe this is the way to do this currently?

I’d asked Claude about this and it had pointed me to this technique, but without the video, I was habitually putting in a space before and after the “->”, which caused it to completely fail.
